When you say the Air came on, do you mean A/C? Because if air came out of your furnace floor vents, then a fan was running.
If nothing, nada, was coming from the furnace, you might try checking the 12v fuse and the switch on the furnace: it is on the short side where the circuit board goes.
If you have power, then it could be the circuit board, the sail switch, gas valve or ignitor. I posted a pretty detailed post in the past. If anyone is interested, I will dig it up.
