We still don't get far from home, but I'm hoping in the near future we will. Currently I carry but rarely use the 30 amp extension for the 30 amp cord. Most places we go to are only 30 amp.

I want to plan for the day when we can travel, and I will only take the 50 amp cord (along with a 30 amp adapter).

So, the question to this long intro is, in your experience, do I need a 50 amp extension cord?
