No ~~ never use it on the 5er. Other than the vent covers and AC covers there are products made especially for those other applications. I put nothing on tires but soap and water plus cover when not in use. Neighbor accidently sprayed a little on his boat cover and instant leaks. One chemical product does not work on all, ever.
