I`m personally a diehard Rhino hose user. With that said,I have found that to make 1 hose an extension, you need to remove the "L" and replace with another female twist lock end. Also you need a coupler to hook the 2 hoses together.

I also discovered you need to remove at least 1 cap from either end BEFORE extending, or you can cause it too collapse in onto itself. If you connect bayonet end to drain, remove cap on other end before extending the hose. I learned this the hard way,lol.
