Have had the Flex for years. Don’t think they had the extreme when I bought. Does stay put. Nice thing is it stays compressed when you compress it. And if you only need 6’ you just pull it out to a 6’ length instead of having to work with the full 15’.
Don’t know about crush. Have never stepped on it or dropped anything heavy on it.
