I put on Eternabond in the same spot about 2 years ago. It already is worn thru again from the slide rubbing the top. I know (dealer confirmed) that the opening for the slide is too small - the rubber flaps on the top actually curl upward in a U shape because having no room to lay down. So there is always a pretty good friction on the screw area.
