As an alternative, there is a product called T-9. I started using it last year while traveling along the gulf coast. It performed well against stopping the corrosion that had already began on my exposed metal parts. http://boeshield.com/ I purchased it at Camping World in Florida, so I'm not sure if all stores carry it.

I used it recently on my level-up legs as I left our Monty in temporary storage in Redding, Ca for several months. After applied, it leaves a fine waxy coating. When not storing or sitting for any length of time, I use silicone spray as advised.
