After Acadia, if you are heading South, you might want to stop at Camden and Boothbay Harbor. They are both beautiful areas. Camden has a beautiful harbor and if you like hiking (easy hikes for me) there are some beautiful views with easy hikes. Boothbay Harbor is also a great stop. The Northeast Rally was held there in June and from what I have read, all had a good time, beautiful harbor, shops, boat rides.
