The IS is independent suspension form Mor Ryde. They will do just disc brakes if that's what you want. The previous owner of our rig did just that in 9/2013 at a cost of $2570 installed. I'm sure its more now.

Our unit is going to Mor Ryde in June to get the IS installed, (transferring the disc brakes over to the new IS system). They are also installing new USA made Timken bearings and installing a new shear spring and puck glides in the hitch.

Total cost is between $4500 & $5200 depending on 7 or 8k IS
