It didn't take me long to figure out the Quest unit was not what I could live with. In checking prices on home theatre systems, I calculated that it would be a unit you would pay about $99 for(including speakers and subwoofer!!!). I replaced mine with a Koss model from sears. The new unit was about $200. It is a 650 watt unit vs the old 150 watt unit. I used the new subwoofer, and the existing speakers except for in the rear. The rear speakers I replaced with a pair of nice in-ceiling speakers. What a difference this made. The controls are easier, the sound is better (including setting up sound for the rear speakers). I would recommend upgrading the Quest system to anyone!
