Not all fridge loads are inductive. The samsung uses an inverter compressor not the typical motor driven compressor. If your fridge was one that did use the normal compressor, I would imagine that the startup surge could be twice what the maximum load is. But most inverters have a startup surge spec that is roughly twice it's rated steady state...ie, a 1000w inverter is probably 900 watts. So it pays to know what the fridge specs are. If keystone put in an inverter that doesn't have enough power to drive the fridge, then crap happens. Can't say what keystone is installing for fridges and inverters.
