A friends SOB,has a power awning like mine but it doesn't have the knobs to secure it in place, its hinged in 3 locations and is a stiff friction type hinge. Was camping Easter weekend with them in a moderate wind and rain, and theirs never moved. It has piqued my interest, and will look more into his awning when the time comes to have mine replaced and or repaired.
