We’ve been full/-time since January This happened because there was very little space to maneuver and we were on very uneaven ground. We hadn’t encountered this before. We were busy watching the rear clearance of the trailer and the front of the truck and didn’t see the problem until it was too late. Lesson learned.

I had just adjusted ours for 6" clearance from rail of truck to bottom of camper. No tool box but was watching camper while backing in and same thing. Never saw how close it was until it would have been too late. If I hadn't added that extra inch I would have been saying more than wow that was close. For us noobies it is easy enough to make a whoops and an awe shucks
