On my 2006 I could go either way depending on which inside trim package I ordered for the new A/C. I elected not to duct it and just use it as a dump. If I had ordered the ducting interior trim I would have removed a blocking flap in the existing duct work. In hind sight I wish I had ducted it. Jim
