I agree with not riding with the bad tire. As far as when the tire began to wear. 6,500 miles ago at this year's Montana Rally in Elkhart, I checked the tread depth on all the tires and they were all even. So something changed since then.
As far as using my spare and eating it up, that is an excellent idea. The spare is a Michelin The only concern is, the spare is a 235/80/16, while the G614's are 235/85/16 Not sure if that makes a difference with the IS suspension. I will call Moryde tomorrow.
