I had the same thing happen to me just before I traded the previous Monty. Had a blow out on the interstate and it was pouring down the rain; threw the bad tire in the back of the truck and just cranked it up. I had to take it to a local machine shop and get them to un-jam the cable. Unfortunately, I had no idea that would cause a problem. Hope it works out better for you than it did for us.
