Two 6 volt Trojan deep cycle batteries is what I put in after only getting a single 27 series from the dealership. I was going to go with the AGM's but was worried about the charging requirements. After getting a return call from our converter/charger manufacturer I was happy to hear that the model of charger that was installed in our unit would work great with AGM's. In the end it was availability and price that swayed my decision on sticking with the lead acid cores. So far I have never had to add water to the batteries, some of that might be do to the smarter chargers that are available now compared to my older units chargers.
