Broome101, you will really enjoy Williamsburg! We stayed at the Colonial KOA this past April. Sites were quite close together and a little difficult to maneuver into/out of. Didn't use the bath house or laundry, and the pool was still closed. Folks working in the office/store area were very friendly and helpful.
It was rather expensive for what you get; I think we paid $48.95 a day
! It was nice being near Colonial Williamsburg and Jamestown, though. When we go back, we'll try a different campground. If/when you go, head down the road to Jamestown. On the left side is a tiny restaurant called Jamestown Pies. The BEST freshly made pizzas and pecan pies. Happy trails!
