Keep in mind the ST tires are rated for 65mph maximum. This has been a handicap for me, as this new rig wants to keep up with traffic and I find myself closer to 75mph quite a bit.

The ST tires are designed for trailers and give you a little higher load rating at lower pressures (typical D rated ST tire carries as much load at 65psi as an E rated LT tire carries at 80psi). If you change over to LTs, just make sure you are retaining your total load capacity you are giving up with your ST tires.

Personally, I think my next tires will be the LT type (Wrangler E you discuss or even the Michelin). Montana used to install LT tires on the optional axles upgrades prior to 2005.
