I agree with rohrmann about jimc100's comment about the optional emergency brake battery. The house battery on any fiver or TT is fine for the Hydrastar's need for emergency braking. The kits for any disk brake conversion that mention a separate battery option are for trailers like smaller horse, goose neck, or cargo trailers that have no on-board battery to start with. Your on board battery is used to power your breakaway switch under the pin box right from the assembly line.
