I looked at the Hydrastar web site and it looks like their on-line video shows them installing a Kodiak system.


If you do use that video as a guide, there are at least two significant errors made:
- They use the original bracket bolts. They are too short, needing at least three threads ouside of the nut. I used ARP bolts 1.25 long instead of the OEM .880


- They said tighten the spindle nut hand tight, then back off one turn. Follow Dexter's (Lippert's) IB to 50 lb ft, back off torque then finger tighten until you can install the retainer. The IB is more explicit - read it for your own understanding first.


I installed the Hydrastar actuator and am very happy with its performance
