My knowledge may be dated but in 2015 trucks the TPM sucked. It will tell you a tire had low pressure but it was an exercise left to the owner to figure out which one. Additionally it wasn't available on a dually.

With the 2017 changes, apparently duallies now have a TPM. Does the TPM display individual tire pressures too? That would be an improvement.

The Ford display system was a locked system and not accommodating to additions (more camera displays was one desired mod). There was some talk on the Ford forums about a "jail break" technique to unlock the computer and add new features. It didn't seem to be too popular (something about warranty).

I believe a separate TPMS for the Montana would be the best route to go.
