Lots of good ideas and one of them is probably the culprit. On a long shot in case none of those help, in the basement on our model the line makes a 90-degree turn to go up to the toilet. There's a black brace on that turn to keep it from kinking. If that brace is missing could there be a kink at that location?
That said, when we installed the riser on ours, and later a taller toilet, I had to remove that brace to get the line to reach the connection on the toilet. I could not get the brace back on and we've never had a constriction there. Still, it might be possible.
If you call Thetford and they think it's the water valve they will send you a new one. We had a different problem (noisy valve) and they sent me one based on our phone conversation.
