We had our AC's serviced and then it turned cold and the furnace wouldn't work, but it wouldn't work at all. They had knocked the communication cable out of the AC unit and so then the thermostat couldn't communicat thru the AC to the furnace. But if the furnace runs at all and then shuts down, that's not it. It's most likely a bad sail switch and if the switch is good there is an obstruction in the ducts.
