I think you are referring to the auto reset circuit breakers in the DC system.

The answer is yes.

It’s not the high charge rate that causes the problem it the use or attempts to use the high amperage draw system when the batter is partially discharged.

The low voltage causes the appliance like your hydraulic pump to draw more amps than normal and commonly trips that circuit breaker.

Each time a circuit breaker trips the bimetal spring inside weakens and will eventually cause the breaker to trip at smaller load.

They are not expensive and you can commonly purchase them at an auto parts store.
