GPA Dick I too have the 3400 with the new front end cap I have 16K REESE slider I don't need the slider anymore and I pack a honda ex 5500 gen behind the cab of my long bed chevy no issues with the turning at all the hitch is a little heavy but I can place it in and out bye myself to load the gen but it is a load lol good luck with your new monty so far the biggest issue in mine has been the cabinets please check all hinge screws for tight and not over tight I ended up replacing 12 hinges and fixed aprox half the screws good luck
