Did you read the entire post that you are referring to about the crushed hitch. Pay particular attention the engineer that pretty much summed up the likely problem. Yep the thing broke, so what, call your wonder hitch company and ask " had any failures" this is nothing compared to the thread on another forum, and as a few just trying to justify why they spent so much money and put up with the hassles ,pounding, chucking, bucking, oil, grease, mess, weight, maintenance, defending, contraptions to remove, on and on and on. Sorry dose not compute. The wave of the future but we all know for some just refuse to let it go.
