HamRad, believe it or not we never had any ancillary damage, knock on wood. Goodyear covered a couple of them but on the others they claimed I must have been overweight or hit something. These were dealers. I never sent anything to the factory. Usually there was too little tire left on the rim. I am careful about tire pressure, too. Knock again on wood, the Mission tires that are OEM on this 3400 have 13,000+ miles and have been flawless although I have one wearing on the inside tread. I may have to find an axle alignment shop to fix that.
