Comparing pictures, they don't appear to be exactly the same. The TireMinders are black when inflation is OK, and go yellow when the tire is low. Acu-Pressure goes green to yellow to red.

I had a set of 35# AcuPressures on my Silverado for a couple years, never had any trouble. Bought them off Ebay.

When I was looking for a set for the Monty, couldn't find any 80# rated except at CW. It must be recently that the Acupressures are available for higher pressures.

It was 3-4 months, and a few thousand miles before the first one went bad. I thought maybe a rock nicked it, or something else hit it while driving. But when another one leaked down..............

Both times, I found the low tire on a walkaround before leaving a CG after setting a few days. I also do a walkaround whenever we make a stop while on the road, and never saw any problems.

It's a great idea, but I'm a little gun-shy now.
