how long is it going to be below freezing? If it warms up during day, you should be ok. I always put RV anti freeze in the tanks to keep valves from freezing. Yes you should have some fluid in the tanks for pads. I fill my tank and use pump, it takes a long time for a full tank to freeze. Keep furnace running, electric heater or fireplace will not heat basement and will trick furnace into shutting off.
