I played with one of those at HD but everyone I picked up had a stiff spot every turn which I thought might make it hard to hang onto once it gets heavy with cable. The one I got can be set firmly on the ground while rolling in the cable. They are all made overseas so only time will tell how long it holds up. I had just wondered if anyone had ever run across something similar in a metal version. I've always had a strong aversion to cheap Chinese tools.
