I always place 2x10x10 wood pads under all 6 levelers as this seems to make the unit more stable. I never put them down directly on grass, pavement, concrete, etc.

Our Monty still pops after we added a quart of TORCO racing fork oil to the system last year. Just last week I got another qt of the same and will add it today maybe. Sure hope this stops it. Mine seems to be worse when the outside temperature makes a noticeable change
