The Mor/Ryde pin box is made to absorb front to back motion (chucking) and it is also engineered to to absorb some side to side motion. With the blocks left in you are keeping it from absorbing side to side motion therefore limiting its ability to function completely as engineered. Another words remove them to get the best ride. If you have a Superglide hitch they must remain installed due to the way it functions with a capure plate. I hope this explains it.
