We don’t use the ring and I don’t have one for the 50 amp connection. With the 30 amp connection I have a locking ring on it but I don’t use it. After I twist on it seems to be locked in ok and I’ve never had it to come out. The ring it ‘self don’t act like it will work anyway on my set up. It acted like it was too hard to fool with so I just haven’t tried to use it.
