Welcome to the Forum and congrats on your soon to be new roaming home! You have picked a great unit and a good spot to find out about your unit and it's operation.

Be sure to do a thorough PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) when the unit comes in. You can find numerous check lists here on the Forum on what to have when making the PDI and what to check out during the PDI. Make sure your sales person or a service tech goes through everything about your unit and if you have any questions ask them till you are satisfied with the answer to your questions. DO NOT sign for the unit until you have done the PDI because some dealers do not want you to see things they should have repaired prior to putting it on the lot or getting it from the factory. DO NOT accept the unit until all things you find in during the PDI and your PDI inspection are totally rectified and corrected. Take your time on the PDI! DO NOT let the dealer, sales rep or service tech hurry you through it. This is where you find things that need to be corrected and this is why you take your time. If you can, once you have taken it off the lot, try to find a campground that you can set up for at least a couple of days to go through the unit and make sure everything is working as it should.

If you can, join in at some of the Regional and National Rallies that Montana Owners Club have. This is a great way to meet fellow Montana owners and learn what they have done to their rigs to make them more like home while they are on the road. The National Fall Rally is held in September in Goshen, IN (birthplace for your Montana) and is a great way to learn about your unit, listen to sessions by OEM manufacturers that furnish their merchandise that goes into the Montana's, tour the Montana Plant and other plants of the OEM's, get to meet some really great people and did I mention the food? well that is another aspect of the Rally that can't be beat. This year will be special because all of the sessions by the OEM venders and other venders will be held inside and not in the tents on the fairgrounds like in the past few years. Come join in the fun and meet your fellow Montana owners that post on the Forum face to face! Hope to see you there. The Regional Rallies are more laid back but a great place to meet fellow Montana owners.

OK, I've carried on here long enough but again Welcome to the Forum and enjoy that new rig when you get it.
