HSDPA is the high speed/broadband service that AT&T offers.
Sprint / Verizon / Alltel use a different technology called EVDO.
If you can find it, HSDPA is similar in speed to EVDO.
Problem is finding it!
HSDPA is only in about 20-30% as many places as EVDO is currently, and growing/expanding at a snail's pace, compared to EVDO.
if you already have EVDO, you're better off.
if someone is considering internet from a cellular carrier, my opinion is EVDO will be available in more places than HSDPA.
