The link is a series of pics of the repair. getting to stick is the key thanks for advice i used Acetone. In the pics you will see what i believe was a factory defect that someone found the metal had ripped andf they repaired it with two stapples. I found that they do used screws. I covered my screws with duct tape and used my wifes dough roller to finish.

If i had to do it again or some else does i would make small incesions the size of my screw head to secure the metal with screws rather than a long cut get screws in. Than i would repair small pea size hole
