I've been told by several that 199 is a beautiful drive and not that bad a tow. So we'll be doing it after the rally, heading back to the coast to resume our "trip." Today we took 299 from north of Eureka to Redding. It was rainy and some light fog but what a gorgeous drive! I hear 199 and 299 are very similar as far as towing but not having done 199 before I'll have to wait to find out.
