IF you play with them you will void your warranty and I don't think you want to do that on a new rig. If you need more ground clearance put blocks under the legs. I've built 12 X 12 blocks out of treated decking. I built two that are three high and 4 that are two high. They work great and if I need extra height because the ground us uneven and lower in one or two spots I put the three level blocks under those legs and the two under the other four. I carry the blocks in the bed of the truck and they are easily accessible anytime I need them. IF you're concerned about travel with the legs being close to the ground or roadway, I don't think you will have any problems.
