Thanks Carolyn & Wayne. We like the way it looks too and I guess that is one of the things you get with this particular model of fireplace along with a remote. Just what we needed.....something else to lose  We are headed to the Lake Siskiyou rally tomorrow so we will be able to check out how well the new addition works with the nighttime temps getting into the 30's 
Hopefully it will keep it nice and toasty inside
