If this was true the manufactures of pin boxes would not have the adjustment
available for you to use without a warning of possible damage to the camper or at least a statement of voided warranty if you do. Keystone and others would have done this if it was a potential problem now or in the future.
Generic statements ? Given the number of units sold in the last couple of years the few with fame issues is very very small certainly not "a lot".
