Lots of stuff for critters to feed on in the grey tanks. Wouldn't be surprised if they were living in there. You may want to try flushing the grey tanks a few times. Few people actually flush their grey tanks as well as the Black. Lots of people just leave the knife valve(s) open and never have enough liquid to fully flush the tank.
