Patty, when it cools off in the evening, try turning off the AC for an hour or so, like Dennis mentioned. Then turn it on and run the fan on high all the time. That's what we have to do. Ours froze up again this spring and worked after turning it off for a while. If this doesn't work, you'd best go see Mr. Fixit. Good luck. Hope you can find a cool spot somewhere.
