We have a 2012 Chevy 3/4 ton (2500 HD) Diesel, Crew cab, 4x4, SB (short bed).
Went to dealer to help figure numbers
Max Trailer weight is 15800. Pin is 15 to 25% of weight, according to owners manual. Most folks quote 20%.
So it appears we are within limits, but close to max.
