We just purchased Winegard GM-MP1 Carryout MP1 Manual Portable Satellite and have no idea what is needed to hook it into our existing TV set up.

We have a View Sonic HD TV that is hooked into a DVD/DVR/MP3 player that came stock when new.

We do have a hook up on the outside that indicates cable/satellite but everything we have read today said DO not plug the satellite into that built in coax area. The coax needs to go straight to the receiver and the receiver to the TV.

We will be using our Direct RV receiver
