No banging when taking off and when you stop, your trailer brakes prevent that. I did hear it one time when a car pulled in front of us unexpectedly and stopped right in front of us, did an emergency stop!!
For pulling up on the hitch, I have used the legs of the rig to lift the truck up, and pulling on the hitch, no problem.
I also had a flex problem before we added the Glide-Ride, and had it repaired at Goshen.
