I also gave up on the Valterra and Camco regulators, just didn’t hold up well. After the last failure, I purchased a Watts LFN45B-M1 regulator and fittings for both ends to adapt it to hose connections. That has been several years ago and I don’t have to adjust it or mess with it and it keeps the pressure right where it’s supposed to be. I have a fitting that has a pressure gauge on it that I keep connected in the convenience center. This regulator can be rebuilt with available kits, but have not needed to do that. This was a bit more costly than the RV types, but it seems to be reliable.
