I maybe see not putting a awning on refrigerator slide if fear of blocking the vents but as far as a slide topper there shouldn’t be a problem with that. I have slide toppers on all my slides with no problems. I do have a second awning but it’s not on a slide with my refrigerator. I think your dealer is jacking you around about slide topper.
