As many of you have probably seen, the High Park Fire continues to burn. Our Glacier View neighborhood stays in the news as either #1 or #2 priority for the crews. The Red Flag warning the past two days has not helped. They lost another 9 homes Sunday, including one belonging to a firefighter. No homes have burned in our neighborhood. One of the features of our new home is a home automation system from Control4. I can pull up cameras inside/outside the house, check the temps inside and turn lights on/off. I believe our house will be safe, but the cause of our evacuation was a spot fire that crossed Highway 14 and the Poudre River. A column of flame spun into the air. The wind blew the column until it touched down on the other side of the road. Think how high that column of flame was.

We evacuated the Western Ridge campground on Sunday to a different KOA. This one is in Wellington, Colorado. We have cell service/Internet there which was a problem up in the mountains. Thanks for your prayers.
