I got one of the Grandkids large Funnoodles and cut a piece the width of the hitch plate. Cut a slit and slipped it over the plate to prevent hitting my head. I also cut a piece to fit over the hitch pin to also soften the blow. The bright color of the Funnoodle also helps other to see the head banger. It is also good for the bedroom slide that I sometimes bump into it the front doesn't need to be high enough for leveling.
